Puerto Sandino

This World Class left is a sand bottom point break located at the mouth of a river. Only accessible by boat, guests can be at the peak in less than 20 minutes. A 300 - 400m reeling left, this wave has something for everyone. Works best on a low-incoming tide, 3-4ft swell with 15sec+. Often works in swells as small as 1-2 and as big as 4-6.

Just a bit further north by boat, there is also Salinas Grande. This is a seemingly endless sand bottom beach break offering peaky a-frame barrels. Salinas works best on a low-mid tide with 2-4ft short period swell.

miramar point

About a 5 minute walk north of the hotel is a left hand point break. Inside point works best mid-high, 3-5ft. Outer Reef works best with a long period swell, low-mid, 4-6ft.

shacks

What we consider our ‘home break’, this slab sits right on our doorstep. It’s a left hand reef break that works best from mid to high incoming tide, 3ft to 6ft.

Shifty’s

This beach break is just a few steps south of Shacks. It’s an A frame that works best on a mid-high tide at 3-6ft.
